I randomly found Mindy when searching for a photographer for newborn pics of my first baby. Her pictures were beautiful, so I immediately requested her! I had no idea how much more I would be getting. Mindy’s studio is full of clothes, props, etc. You could walk in with nothing, and she has everything there to make you look like a million bucks. Not to mention how patient and sweet she is! I have now used her for both of my babies and for their most important milestones so far- birth and one year. As my daughter was destroying her smash cake, Mindy was snapping pics and turned around and said “I hope you’re videoing this!” She is truly a pleasure to work with and you will not regret choosing Mindy!!!

Next we’ll choose the perfect day and time to bring your session to life. For outdoor sessions, I recommend aiming for an hour or two before sunset to take advantage of that dreamy, golden glow. Meanwhile, indoor, lifestyle, or studio sessions are often scheduled in the morning when the light is still soft.

Once we’ve nailed down the type of session you’re looking for, it’s time to start developing a vision for your session. Do you imagine yourself out under the wide open sky? In a sun soaked field? Or would you rather cozy up indoors? My studio in Porter, TX, is always available, or we can explore the possibility of an in-home lifestyle session. Together, we can find the perfect location to bring your vision to life.

Because your family is beautifully unique, I firmly believe that the session meant to document it should be, too! So, whether you’re planning a maternity, newborn, or family session, we will craft an experience that enables your family’s personality to truly shine.
But no matter what milestone you wish to preserve, there are some essential stops along our journey together.
About 2 weeks after your session, I’ll send you a soft proofing gallery and you can decide on your collection! Explore framing options, craft your heirloom album, or design birth announcements to tell the world about your new baby. Then, just relax and wait for your custom artwork to arrive!
Treasuring your memories
Once your session is booked, I’ll send you a welcome guide stuffed with information on how our session will be laid out, how to prepare your children, and what to bring along. This way, when the day of your session arrives, you’ll feel confident and free to simply connect in front of the camera. This enables us to preserve those genuine emotions in a way that you’ll treasure forever!

This is where it really gets good, because I’m not going to leave you high and dry when it comes to choosing a wardrobe! Once we develop a vision for your portrait session, I’ll help you craft a wardrobe to match. And with access to my curated client closet, there’s no need to shop!
